Funniest Spam Comments

Funniest Spam Comments

Can I be the first to say spam comments don’t bother me in the slightest. The WordPress plugin “Akismet” has caught 100% of them so it’s no effort to remove them on my part. I find it funny how people waste their time running software to blast comments across millions of sites in the hope of getting one link back to their own site, especially when the message is full of spelling mistakes, unwarranted flattery and weird name drops. Below I’ve compiled a list of the funniest spam comments my blog has received over the last year or so.

“Just wanted to let you realize I enjoyed browsing on your world-wide-web Internet site.”

Sounds like you need to update your list of generic spam comments from 1995.

“Funny, I used to be discussing this issue with my older uncle the other day, now I’ll have one particular more argument in my hand when it’ll appear to confrontation after again.”

Thank you for clarifying the age of your Uncle, I was just about to ask.

“Thanks for wonderful information I was looking for this information for my mission.”

This comment was on a stock image of a clock. What kind of mission are they on exactly? Wasting my time?

“oqtgmjolcpueftjho, sasasadasd.org

Couldn’t have said it better myself, a real wordsmith at work here.

“WOW! You make blogging look easy”

This just made me laugh.

“Do you have a spam issue on this website; I also am a blogger, and I was wanting to know your situation”

Oh the irony! Their name was “Budget Cheap Travel” by the way.

“I couldn’t resist commenting. Perfectly written!”

I wish you had resisted (again, this comment was on an image – so no writing at all.)

“I was suggested this blog by my cousin. I am not sure whether this post is written by him as nobody else know such detailed about my difficulty.”

Unless your cousin is called Stuart L. Crawford you should not be confused. I think your real difficulty is the ability to communicate effectively.

“I’ve said that least 1657718 times.”

You must really like fonts!

“Hey There. I found your blog using msn.”

Quote from the one remaining MSN user.

That was the top 10 in no particular order, of the funniest spam comments my blog has received over the last year. I’d be interested to hear what your blog receives that is caught in the spam filters so leave a comment below.
