Indicative (2026/2027) UK fees for a professional services rebrand, by type of provider, plus the costs the fees don’t include.

The Rebrand Cost Calculator gives law, accountancy, financial advice and consulting firms indicative UK professional fees for a rebrand, from a freelancer to a network agency, for three scopes: brand identity, identity and website, or a full rebrand with a new name. It also lists the costs, fees excluded, and, for a name change, the steps your regulator and Companies House expect.

Where the ranges come from

These are Inkbot Design’s planning ranges, drawn from published UK supplier pricing and our own 300+ identity projects. No published dataset compares like-for-like rebrands for professional services firms across every provider type, so treat them as budgets for planning and comparing quotes, not as averages.

The freelancer and boutique bands draw on published UK ranges such as Huddle Creative’s branding cost guide (June 2025: £100–£3,000 for freelancers, £3,000–£10,000 for small to mid-size agencies, £10,000–£100,000+ for large agencies) and Canny Creative’s rebrand guide (typically £10,000–£50,000+ for small to mid-sized UK companies). Website elements follow Opace’s website cost model (August 2026: £4,900–£13,300 for a 6–30 page business website from a freelancer, which Opace describes as model outputs rather than averages).

The mid-size bands are estimates between published small-agency and large-agency pricing, and the network row is an enterprise proxy rather than a network-agency rate card. A name change is priced on the assumption that the agency develops a name for a UK-focused firm; naming across several countries needs its own estimate. Formal trademark work, physical production and launch spending are excluded throughout.

Questions about rebrand costs

How much does a rebrand cost a UK professional services firm?

It depends mostly on who does it and what it covers. As a planning guide, a brand identity runs from about £2,000–£7,500 with a freelancer to £15,000–£40,000 with a mid-size agency, and a full rebrand with a new name and website from about £12,000 to £120,000 across the same providers. Network agencies start at about £50,000 and need a scoped proposal.

Why do quotes for the same rebrand vary so much?

Mostly because the scope isn’t the same. One quote may include discovery, positioning and guidelines; another only a logo. Agree what each scope includes, as the calculator defines it, and ask every supplier to quote against that.

What isn’t included in these fees?

Formal trademark clearance and registration, premium domains, signage and print production, paid media and launch events, your own team’s time, and ongoing hosting, licences and marketing.

Does a name change need regulator approval?

Regulated firms usually have to tell their regulator, and some must meet rules on firm names. The FCA, for example, requires reasonable advance notice of a new name. The calculator lists the steps for your sector with links to each regulator’s guidance; check the current rules with your regulator before you announce a new name.

Where does Inkbot Design sit?

The Brand Equity Blueprint™ covers positioning, identity and messaging for one brand: £7,500, paid upfront, typically 4–6 weeks from cleared payment. Websites, naming and rollout are scoped separately.
